Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they?

(Japanese: 問題児たちが異世界から来るそうですよ? Romanji: Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sō Desu yo?), also known as Mondaiji (問題児), is a Japanese light novel series written by Tarō Tatsunoko and illustrated by Yū Amano. An anime adaptation by Diomedéa aired from January 11, 2013 to March 15, 2013.

A sequel to mondaiji titled Last Embryo began serialization on June 1, 2015 with a new illustrator, Momoko.

Plot

Sakamaki Izayoi, Kudou Asuka, and Kasukabe Yō have tremendous powers and are bored with the regular world. An envelope arrives for each person, and when each opens their envelope, they are stunned to see the scenery around them change to a world they had never encountered before. They've been summoned by Kuro Usagi to help the community "No Name" to overthrow the Demon lords.

Anime

A television anime adaptation produced by Diomedéa aired on Tokyo MX from January 11, 2013 to March 15, 2013, and later on other stations. The series was simulcast by Crunchyroll and Anime on Demand. The opening theme is "Black † White" by Iori Nomizu whilst the ending theme is "To Be Continued?" by Kaori Sadohara. The anime adaptation tells the adventures of volumes 1 and 2. The OVA was released as a bundle/special with the release of Volume 8 of the Light Novel series. There were five releases in total with each disc containing two episodes.

Manga

Mondaiji-tachi ga isekai kara kuru sou desu yo? is a Seinen manga series that began serialization in Monthly Comp Ace with Nanamomo Rio as the illustrator. Covering volumes 1 and 2 of the Light Novels and ran alongside the anime, though outlasting it as the eighteen chapters were released once a month. The manga is more faithful tothe light novel and has scenes the anime does not.

Spin-off Manga

Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sō Desu yo? Z is a Shonen spin off manga written and illustrated by Anri Sakano. It ran in Age Premium during the run of the anime and after it. Volumes 1 and 2 take place after the events of Volume 2 of the Light Novel while Volume 3 takes place after volume 5.
